Every so often I come across a Kickstarter that I just have to back and be a part of - even more so when it's to help artists achieve a creative goal. Today I spotted a tweet by the lovely Mirelle about a new collection of illustrations that she's currently part of called 'The Dream Cluster: an illustrated anthology'. I've been a fan of her work for a long time so naturally had to check it out!

The Dream Cluster showcases the work of 50 amazingly talented illustrators from all walks of life, exploring the world of dreams in a mesmerising array of beautiful illustrations. I've not seen that many full pieces as yet but every little snippet I've seen have been stunning! And better still, they're aiming to become a platform that new voices of the artistic community can be heard from.

"The result is a book filled with vibrant illustrations that are both awe striking and haunting, personal and inspiring pieces bound by the logic of the subconscious mind.

The project addresses dreams, the logic - or lack of- behind them and their impact in the dreamer, making each illustration a unique window into the minds of our artists, their desires, fears and some of the sources of their inspiration."

If you'd like to know more about this awesome book then head over to their Kickstarter page! The guys only have 7 days left of fundraising and still have quite a bit to raise. Every pledge big or small, no matter the size, is a massive help to them and is another step towards this fantastic, inspiring group of diverse artists bring something awesome to fruition.

If you're like me then you'll definitely want to get your hands on a copy. I can look at art all day long on the internet. But guys, there's just something about holding printed art in a book that makes it so much more inspiring , you know?
