This weekend I attended MCM LDN - probably one of the best 'geeky' conventions I've been to yet! I've been a few times to MCM in the past - however this was my first time at the new location in the eXcel centre near where I live in Greenwich, and first time taking my younger bro too.

I pretty much spent the bulk of my time in the artist's quarter - hours chatting to pretty much every artist that was free about their work and getting to know them. It's not often I get chance to talk to other artists 1-on-1 in person, so it was great to get that time with them.

I was so captivated by it all in fact that I forgot to take any pics! I know, I know - major blogger fail! I'm a bit bummed about it because the cosplayers this year really upped their game. Harley Quinns and Deadpools galore!

Believe it or not, I actually managed to restrain myself (kinda) in the amount of merch I bought - however did pick up some AMAZING items. I managed to bag 3 tees - 2 Zelda and 1 Power Rangers, a Totoro hoody and an awesome looking tote. I'll take proper pictures of the clothing at a later date, but in the meantime here's so of the fantastic artwork I managed to pick up as well:

And this awesome tote from TOKYOTOYS!

So I kinda have a little anouncement to make too - thanks to a little encouragement for Daisy, I might be attending again next year as an artist!!! When she suggested me applying for a spot, I thought they definitely wouldn't let someone like me have a stall there. Turns out - as long as you're an artist and can afford the £350 to apply, it's fair game! After chatting to other artists about it there and actually seeing how it all works, I'm definitely set on going next year. If I can afford it. And I'm even thinking I might go in cosplay!!

I'm uber excited about it all and it's set off a whole plethora of ideas - things I can't wait to get started on as soon as I get this damned MacBook Pro!!

If you attended this weekend, let me know in the comments below!
