Some of the best advice I ever received growing up was to live by your own rules. As a kid, you never really understand how great the advice you receive is - and unfortunately a lot of that wisdom falls of deaf ears! So today I'm blogging my top rules to happiness, according to me.
Some are my own, some are advice and some are of the person I want to be.
Listen twice as much as you talk.
If you make a promise, keep it.
Be the first to apologise.
Smile at strangers.
Admit when you're wrong.
Try to find the positive in everything.
It's more important to be kind than it is to be right.
Be the first to offer a hug.
It's okay to ask stupid questions.
Stand up for what you believe is right.
Be the hero you'd look up to.
Make the little things count.
