Do you have a daily routine?
Get up at 7, tea, chill, get dressed into something awesome, study, study, study, tea, study, tea, study, tea… sleeeeep.
When's your first cup of tea?
Well about seven as soon as I wake up! It’s the very first thing I do!
What's your preferred tea-making ritual?
Boil the kettle and while I’m waiting I tend to tidy bits up around the living room and kitchen, and then again while I’m waiting for the tea to brew (It has to brew).
Did you drink tea as a child?
I think so, I’ve been drinking tea so long I can’t remember when I started! Our parents’ never really got us started on tea or caffeinated drinks until we were older.
Confess. Can you say no to biscuits or cake?
Yeh… I’m not really a big cake or biscuit fan… gimme popcorn over that anyday!
Which is your favourite cuppa of the day?
Probably the first, it tastes so good! Or one when I’ve just come home from uni or something, it feels so good to sit and relax with a hot brew.
Is there one break that's non-negotiable?
Mid to late afternoon I feel slumpy. I’m so productive and energised in the morning but as the day goes on I get more and more tired (anti-depressants I’m on at the mo make me exhausted!) and tea makes me feel warm and cosy and happy J
Milk or tea in the cup first?
I guess by tea you mean the water and teabag and they have to go first! If you put milk in first it stops as much tea releasing from the teabag as it clogs it up. Honestly, you gotta take out the teabag before putting milk in!
And finally, any projects or news you’d like to talk about?
I am hoping to do some group posts on my blog soon, I have some ideas and certain bloggers I am hoping will get involved, but right now I’m so busy with uni work blogging has to take a back seat!
I’d also like to say thanks for this opportunity! It’s fun to be on someone else’s blog for once :D
Learning is my biggest passion, and I have a lot of big passions. I’m passionate about errrrything! I love, laugh, and cry hard. I also study hard, for my Biochem course at uni (which is crazy hard btw, but so inspiring) and that pesky French module!
My friends know me for leaving a trail of glitter behind me (and a trail of hair), always wearing fun printed leggings, and giving wise advice (apparently). I like to think of myself as an animal whisperer, dogs love me. Once my hamster escaped and he came back on Christmas morning, recently my guinea pig escaped and she returned (from the dead?) six days later on Easter Sunday. I’m not religious but I think my pets are.
