I asked blogger Flo all about her day in tea...
Do you have a daily routine?
I'm returning to work next week (eeek!) and as of the 1st of September I'll be back into my daily routine. I'm an early riser, not through want but through need. The first thing I do is put the kettle on when I wake up, I then do yoga, headspace and workout (usually pilates) have a big breakfast and submerge myself into my vintage shop and the blog all morning. I'll surface around lunch time eat a quick lunch, prep dinner, clean like mad and be out of the door for work by 3pm. I usually get home about 10:30 pm and spend the evening catching up on my bloglovin' latest post feed and social media.
Could you tell us what you do for a day job?
I'm a foreign language English teacher in Barcelona as well as an online vintage shop owner.
When's your first cup of tea?
Roughly 4 minutes after opening my eyes at approximately 7:04am.
What's your preferred tea-making ritual?
My most favourite way to make tea is in my vintage tea pot, I love winter Sundays when I can snuggle up by the fire with a big pot of tea and my teacup and saucer.
Did you drink tea as a child?
I did! My family are BIG tea drinkers.
Confess. Can you say no to biscuits or cake? Are you a dunker?
I follow a plant based diet for health reasons so sadly I have to say no to delicious biscuits and cake all the time. But I make lots of yummy healthy biscuits and cakes at home. With tins of home made biscuits and the little willpower I possess it's a surprise I'm not the size of a house.
Which is your favourite cuppa of the day?
The cup I have just after I get home from work, oh it's so lovely and relaxing.
Is there one break that's non-negotiable?
My first cup of tea in the morning is absolutely non-negotiable, I can't function without it. I don't even know how to string together a full sentence if I haven't had my morning cuppa.
Milk or tea in the cup first?
I drink my tea black however when I make tea for friends and family I always do tea first. Who does milk first?! Is this a thing I didn't know about?!
And finally, any projects or news you’d like to talk about?
I returned to blogging a couple of months ago and have decided to continue with my blog once I go back to work. I've fallen in love with writing again, so keep your eyes peeled for regular posts. :) I also have some exciting plans in the pipeline for the vintage shop.
Thank you for this lovely interview Mark :)
Have a supercalifradulisticexpialidocious day!
Love from a fellow tea addict and crazy cat lady,
