I asked blogger Rowan to describe her day in tea...

Do you have a daily routine?
Every day I wake up at the same time (which always feel too early!), get dressed and head straight for the kettle!

When's your first cup of tea?
As soon as humanly possible – normally about 8am on a work day!

What's your preferred tea-making ritual?
If it is before work – I boil the kettle, pick one of my favourite take away cups, pick my tea of the day (which is normally Vanilla Chai), pour the water over the bag, brew, remove bag and add skimmed milk! Done!

If at the weekend, I use my gorgeous ForLife Teapot with a hand-knitted tea cosy from my mum (when I discovered I needed one of these teapots, they were NOT that easy to source in the UK, so when I did get one, I felt like I was being given a block of gold!) and some lush loose leaf chai tea, a good mug and a drop of milk – and comfy chill out clothes!!

Did you drink tea as a child?
My dad used to make me a special drink that consisted of milk, a spoon of sugar and hot water – it felt like tea :)

Confess. Can you say no to biscuits or cake?
I am pretty sure there is a law against saying no to these…!

Which is your favourite cuppa of the day?
My getting home from work cuppa – although I can’t function without my first of the day, I can sit down and relax when I get home from work and really enjoy every sip!

Is there one break that's non-negotiable?
Lunch time to have an interrupted cuppa!

Milk or tea in the cup first?
Tough one! If I have a teapot on the go, milk first. If not, tea first!

And finally, any projects or news you’d like to talk about?
I have just finished a great tea giveaway – I am planning on holding another at the end of April – watch this space!

Hey! I am Rowan - I drink too much tea out of one of my 10 ceramic take away cups (that I can't stop buying..)! I live in a lovely little house in Hampshire in the UK and I love it - although I do have USA envy!

I am guilty of having an overflowing tea and coffee cupboard and constantly buying more.. Always trying to keep the fun in my life, and documenting it along the way!
