I asked blogger Erin Veness to describe her day in tea...

Do you have a daily routine?
I have never really had one; when I work, I work in care - so that's shift work. I do try to leave it as late as possible to sit at my computer though, because once I'm there I'm up to my neck in business and social media and the blogging world.

When's your first cup of tea?
If I could teleport a cup of tea to me as I woke up, it'd be brilliant. For now I have to settle for when the boyfriend decides to bring me one - sadly.

What's your preferred tea-making ritual?
I don't really have one, although saying that, I'm prone to drinking tea with the teabag in and also forgetting about cups of tea and drinking them cold.

Did you drink tea as a child?
No - but I did set the sofa alight with matches when I was 4.

Confess. Can you say no to biscuits or cake?
Never. There are always biscuits and cakes in the flat, it's so unhealthy but also, so important.

Which is your favourite cuppa of the day?
The first one, especially if there's been any alcohol the night before. There's just something tea does that sets me up for the day.

Is there one break that's non-negotiable?
Any break I choose to take is non-negotiable. I'm a little bit stubborn. If I'm sitting down for a cup of tea and ciggie, I am, and you're really not stopping me.

And finally, milk or tea in the cup first?
Tea, obviously, what kind of heathen puts milk in first? Saying that, my father does. I knew there was a reason I set the sofa on fire.
