Hi all! I have another really simple recipe for you today and it's something that I'm absolutely obsessed with at the moment. If you haven't already guessed by the massive picture above, it's sweet potato fries!!
To be honest I had never even tried them until a few weeks ago at Byron Burger and immediately fell in love with them. So finding a recipe to make them in less than 30 mins is definitely a major win! I made my own batch of them today and they were so good!
Here's what you'll need to make your own:
- 2 sweet potatoes
- Vegetable oil
...and that's it! Let's get started.
Step 1 // Put the oven on to pre-heat at 230 degrees then peel the sweet potatoes -- make sure you give them a good wash afterwards to get an excess bits of skin off.
Step 2 // Chop the potatoes to roughly 1/4 inch chips (I mean I know you know how big chips are, only saying just in case!) and smother them in the vegetable oil.
Step 3 // Pop them in oven, turning every 5 mins, for about 20 mins or until golden brown. Ha - saying that made me feel like a real cook!
Step 4 // Leave them too cool for a minute, sprinkle a pinch of salt on them for seasoning and you're done! Great to have with some cream cheese and chive or bbq dip. So delish!
