After a very long (by my standards) creative hiatus - I'm back
This year's Christmas card design.
Hey guys! How're you doing this week - feeling that Christmas cheer yet? :D Just a heads up that we're into the final week of my Patreon content being visible to all even if you're not pledging yet. Starting next Thursday, there's going to be
Well howdy-do kinfolk! Sorry (again!) that's been a while since I last checked in. I've been uber busy with work, illustrating - oh, and a little trip to ICELAND! An amazing 4 days away and I can honestly say that it's the first time in YEARS that I've not been stressed at all!
Where did you you grow up and when did you decide to become an artist? Have you always been creative?
I’m from Norway, more specifically Tønsberg. If you’ve seen Lord of the Rings, Tønsberg essentially served as the Helms deep of the king back in the day, it’s where he would retreat to to fight sieges from enemy forces. So it’s a fairly historically important city in Norwegian history.
Well howdy-do readers!! Gosh - firstly let me apologies for the radio silence for the the past month. Life has been seriously hectic over the past few weeks and I kept saying 'I'll write a post tomorrow, for sure!' - then before I knew it a month had past and here we are!
I've finally launched a Patreon page! I've been asked quite a few times over the past couple of months why I didn't have a Patreon page yet and well, that inner voice saying 'why would people pledge to me though' was strong. That's why.
Hello Kinfolk! I can't believe it's been nearly 2 weeks since I last checked in with your properly. Is it just me, or does this year feel like it's been the fastest one yet? This week I'm celebrating my 2 year anniversary of moving to London - it's crazy!! Which also means that I've been blogging for almost 2 years now, too!
I was born and have lived almost all my life in a small Siberian town in Russia. Still hate snow, that’s why we moved to San Francisco ha ha:) And as far as I remember myself I always have been drawing, painting or DIYing something. My grandma even preserved some of my first drawings. They are hilarious:)
Should you tip your artist? This is a question I've been asking myself for a while now - and when asking others about it, seems like a topic that is hardly ever touched on. So let's get straight into it!
